MIAMI, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Chad Henne and Tyler Thigpen each hurled scoring passes Sunday and Miami overcame two quarterback injuries to down Tennessee 29-17.
Starting Miami quarterback Chad Pennington left just two plays into the game after hitting his throwing arm on the back of lineman. Henne entered and went 19-of-28 for 240 yards, a TD and an interception.
But he was also hurt in the fourth quarter and was replaced by Thigpen, who added 64 yards passing and a scoring strike to tight end Anthony Fasano for the Dolphins (5-4).
Despite the injuries, Miami still managed to roll up 404 yards of total offense and claim its first home win in four games.
Tennessee signal-caller Kerry Collins replaced an injured Vince Young in the second half and completed just 9-of-20 passes for 51 yards for Tennessee (5-4).
Chris Johnson gained 117 yards on 17 carries and Randy Moss made his Titans debut, catching one pass for 26 yards with 4 1/2 minutes left.
