COL FB: Ohio State 38, Penn State 14

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Dan Herron piled up 190 yards rushing Saturday and No. 7 Ohio State scored 35 straight second-half points in their 38-14 spanking of Penn State.

Herron scored a touchdown and Terrelle Pryor tossed for 139 yards and two touchdowns for the Buckeyes (9-1, 5-1 Big Ten), who kept pace for the conference championship, answering a Saturday win by Wisconsin over Indiana.

Down 14-3 at the half, Ohio State held Penn State scoreless the rest of the way. The Buckeyes' defense also logged a pair of scores as Devon Torrence and Travis Howard each returned interceptions for touchdowns.

Matt McGloin gained 159 aerial yards and put up two first-half touchdowns for the Nittany Lions (6-4, 3-3), but also hurled a pair of interceptions in the loss.
