GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Paula Creamer birdied four of the last eight holes Friday to move in front by a shot after 36 holes of the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

Creamer, looking for her first win since capturing the U.S. Women's Open this summer, shot a 6-under 66 at the Guadalajara Country Club for a two-day total of 10-under 134.

Suzann Pettersen was at 135 after firing a 65 and Stacy Lewis, following a bogey at the 18th, was alone in third at 136. The bogey was the first for Lewis in 79 holes.

Cristie Kerr, who had a 64 to lead after one round, was still in front after nine holes Friday but then lost five strokes on the back side. She shot a 76 and wound up in a tie for 14th at 140.
