COL BKB: Temple 62, Seton Hall 56

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Ramone Moore lifted Temple into a big second-half lead Friday and the No. 22 Owls held on to defeat Seton Hall 62-56.

Temple built a 14-point cushion with 2:30 to play before Seton Hall closed to within four with 20 seconds left. The Pirates could not score another point, however, and Juan Fernandez accounted for the final score by making two free throws with 2 seconds to play.

The Owls got 12 points and seven rebounds from Juan Fernandez. Temple is in search of its fourth straight Atlantic 10 title this year, having gone 29-6 last season.

Seton Hall was paced by 17 points from Jeremy Hazell. The loss spoiled the coaching debut at Seton Hall for Kevin Willard.
