Patrik Berglund opened the fourth shootout round for St. Louis and was stopped by Pekka Rinne. Goc then put the puck past the extended pad of Jaroslav Halak and just inside the left post to win it.

Nashville twice overcame a one-goal deficit, tying the game at 2-2 on J.P. Dumont's goal with 6:52 to go in regulation. Rinne made 21 saves in the victory.

The St. Louis home winning streak had stretched to a dozen dating back to last March. It was the longest in franchise history. Halak suffered the loss while stopping 24 shots.
