Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson both hit 3-pointers late Saturday to secure a 107-102 Cleveland victory over Washington.
Williams finished with a game-high 28 points and Gibson had 19 in the Cavaliers' second straight win after three losses. Anthony Parker and Ryan Hollins also reached double figures, and Anderson Varejao had 11 rebound with eight points for the Cavs.
The Wizards were led by Al Thornton's 23 points and Kirk Hinrich's 21. Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee contributed double-doubles but it wasn't enough to drop Washington to 1-4 to start the season.
