NBA: San Antonio 97, LA Clippers 88

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Tony Parker had 19 points and nine assists and Richard Jefferson scored 18 Monday to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 97-88 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Gary Neal scored 16 points and Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili scored 14 points apiece for the Spurs, who have won two of their first three games to start the 2010-11 season.

Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 23 points and a career-high 11 assists. Chris Kaman had 18 points and eight rebounds while Blake Griffin finished with 17 points and eight boards for the Clippers - who haven't beaten San Antonio since March 7, 2006, and are off to an 0-4 start in the new season.
