PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick says he's completely recovered from a rib injury and is ready to reclaim his starting job.

Vick told reporters Monday he is 100 percent healthy for the first time since sustaining a rib cartilage injury Oct. 3 against Washington, when he was sandwiched between two defenders as he scrambled toward the goal line.

Since then, Kevin Kolb has started at quarterback, leading the Eagles to a 2-1 record. Kolb has completed 65 percent of his passes for 810 yards and five scores, with three interceptions.

Vick is expected to be back at behind center in Philadelphia's next game Sunday against Indianapolis.

Until the rib injury, Vick -- who served a prison sentence for a dog-fighting scandal and had been suspended from the league -- was enjoying a resurgent year, completing 61.5 percent of his passes for 799 yards and six touchdowns, with no interceptions.
