NFL: San Diego 33, Tennessee 25

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Philip Rivers threw two second-half touchdowns Sunday, rallying the San Diego Chargers to a 33-25 decision over Tennessee.

With the Chargers trailing 19-14 at the half, San Diego began its comeback when Kris Brown booted a 34-yard field goal in third quarter. Three minutes later, Rivers gave the Chargers the lead for good with a 48-yard scoring strike to Antonio Gates.

Brown added another field goal and Rivers assured the victory with a 13-yard TD toss to Darren Sproles with 6:51 remaining.

Rivers completed 27-of-36 passes and was intercepted once for the Chargers (3-5). Gates caught five passes for 123 yards while Matt Tolbert carried the ball 11 times for 63 yards and a score for the victors.

Titans quarterback Vince Young amassed 253 passing yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-21 throws, but left the game with a knee injury in the second half.

Nate Washington caught four passes for 117 yards and a touchdown for Tennessee (5-3).
