NBA: New Orleans 99, San Antonio 90

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- The New Orleans Hornets rode Chris Paul's 25 points Saturday to a 99-90 decision over the San Antonio Spurs.

David West kicked in another 18 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Marcus Thornton had 17 and Willie Green chipped in a dozen.

Manu Ginobili keyed the Spurs' attack with 23 points and six assists, while Richard Jefferson had 18 points.

Tony Parker responded to signing a multi-year contract extension earlier in the day by producing 13 points and four assists.

Tim Duncan was even more anemic, going 2-of-10 from the field in a seven-point, seven-rebound performance.
