NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- David Bowens ran back a pair of interceptions for scores Sunday, boosting the Cleveland Browns to a 30-17 victory over New Orleans.
His first pick-off of Drew Brees resulted in a 30-yard TD run and gave the Browns a 20-3 lead. His second -- a 64-yard score -- came with 3:33 left in the game and iced the victory for the Browns (2-5).
Phil Dawson kicked three field goals and Colt McCoy completed 9-of-16 passes for 74 yards in Cleveland's win, which broke a two-game losing streak despite gaining only 210 yards for the game.
One of the game's key plays came when Reggie Hodges gained 68 yards on a fake punt.
Brees made 56 pass attempts, connecting on 37 of them for 356 yards for the Saints (4-3). He tossed a pair of TDs but was also intercepted a career high-tying four times.
