Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
BALTIMORE, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Billy Cundiff split the uprights with a 38-yard field goal in overtime Sunday, completing the Baltimore Ravens' 37-34 comeback victory over Buffalo.
The Ravens (5-2) stormed back from a 14-point first-half deficit to post the extra-time victory.
Joe Flacco connected on only 16-of-31 passes but managed to amass 250 yards and three scores. Two of them went to Todd Heap, who grabbed three passes for 59 yards in the contest.
Anquan Boldin contributed six receptions for 92 yards and a score and Ray Rice chipped in with 72 yards on 16 carries for the Ravens.
Buffalo's Ryan Fitzpatrick filled the air with 29 completions on 43 pass attempts for 373 yards and four touchdowns. But he was intercepted twice as the Bills fell to 0-6.
Buffalo's start to the season is its worst since 1985, when they also began 0-6 and finished the year at 2-14.
