Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
HOUSTON, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Cam Weaver notched a tie-breaking goal in the 46th minute Saturday and the Houston Dynamo posted a 2-1 win over Seattle.
Weaver headed home a Mike Chabala service from the left side to give the Dynamo (9-15-6) a season-ending victory. They finished out of the playoffs, second-from the-bottom in the Western Conference.
James Riley got the Dynamo's other goal, scoring in the 12th minute when he kicked home a loose ball from about 20 yards out.
Seattle (14-10-6) got its score from Geoff Cameron.
The Sounders had their five-game winning streak snapped as they prepared to enter the playoffs.
