Oct. 21, 2010 at 10:15 PM   |   Comments

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Ryan Getzlaf put Anaheim in front with 1:46 left in the third period Thursday and the Ducks held on to defeat Philadelphia 3-2.

Anaheim twice took the lead only to have the Flyers come back to tie it, but Philadelphia did not have an answer for Getzlaf's third goal of the season.

Lubomir Visnovsky and Jason Blake also scored for the Ducks, who are 1-1 on a four-game road trip. Curtis McElhinney faced 40 shots and stopped 38 of them in getting the win.

Philadelphia has lost three straight. Sergei Bobrovsky made 19 saves in the loss.

Bobrovsky gave up a rebound on a shot that led to Getzlaf's winning goal. Getzlaf poked at the loose puck and the puck barely drifted over the goal line. It took a replay review to determine whether the goal should count.
