SANDY, Utah, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Real Salt Lake, buoyed by goals from Ned Grabavoy and Javier Morales, broke FC Dallas's 19-game unbeaten streak with 2-0 win Saturday.
Grabavoy scored in the 59th minute when he floated a header past Dallas goalkeeper goalie Dario Sala from 12 yards out. Morales scored in the 89th on one-timer on a nifty set-up by Robbie Findley.
Real goalie Nick Rimando made three saves for his 14th shutout this season.
Real Salt Lake's own unbeaten streak is now 13 matches. RSL (15-4-10), which has one loss in its last 24 games overall, had 11 wins and four draws at home this season and is unbeaten in its last 24 home games overall.
The 19-game streak by Dallas (12-3-14) tied it with the mark set by the Columbus Crew. Dallas last lost in May, 1-0, to the Los Angeles Galaxy.
