Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Andrew Hainault's diving header past San Jose goalkeeper Jon Busch Saturday propelled Houston to a 1-0 Major League Soccer victory.
Hainault's third goal of the season came in the 23rd minute off a corner kick from Brad Davis, who was credited with his 11th assist.
The Dynamo (8-15-6) has two wins and a tie in its last four matches as the regular season winds down.
San Jose (12-9-7) wrapped up a playoff berth last week, but is now last in the eight-team bracket.
