AUBURN, Ala., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Cam Newton hit Emory Blake for a fourth-quarter scoring pass Saturday, putting No. 7 Auburn ahead for good in the Tigers' 65-43 win over No. 13 Arkansas.
Newton also ran for three touchdowns, gaining 188 yards on the ground, and ended with 140 yards through the air on 10-of-14 passing for the Tigers (7-0, 4-0 SEC).
Auburn got rushing TDs from Mario Fannin, Onterio McCalebb and Michael Dyer in the 108-point, offensive showdown.
The Razorbacks (4-2, 1-2) turned to backup quarterback Tyler Wilson after Ryan Mallett left the game with a concussion. Wilson completed 25-of-34 passes for 332 yards with four touchdowns and was picked off twice.
Mallett went 10-of-15 for 96 yards before leaving. Greg Childs piled up 164 yards and scored a pair of TDs on nine receptions in the loss.
