PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Kevin Kolb will again get the starting quarterback spot for the Philadelphia Eagles' game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Kolb was reinstated as the starter after Michael Vick suffered a rib injury two weeks ago. Vick practiced Friday but Eagles Coach Andy Reid said he was staying with Kolb for Sunday.
Kolb completed 21-of-31 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia's victory over San Francisco last week.
The Eagles said while the rib cartilage injury limited Vick's practice time Friday, he may suit up as Kolb's backup. Philadelphia is playing the Falcons, the team Vick was playing for when he pleaded guilty to federal charges related to a dog-fighting ring and sentenced to 23 months in prison.
Kolb was the starter for Reid when the season began but suffered a concussion the first regular-season game. Vick replaced him until the rib injury.
