
BALTIMORE, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Ray Rice scored a pair of touchdowns and rambled for 133 yards Sunday, keying the Baltimore Ravens' 31-17 victory over Denver.
Rice toted the ball 27 times and Willis McGahee contributed a 30-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown run to provide a potent ground attack for the Ravens (4-1), who racked up 233 rushing yards in their third straight win.
Quarterback Joe Flacco chipped in a with a rushing score of his own to go along with a 14-of-25 passing performance for 196 yards as Baltimore grabbed sole possession of first place in the AFC's North Division.
Kyle Orton passed for 314 yards and two touchdowns -- his third straight 300-yard game -- but it wasn't enough to prevent a setback for Denver (2-3).
Brandon Lloyd was the target of both of Orton's TD tosses, finishing the game with 135 yards on five catches.
