PRATTVILLE, Ala., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Katherine Hull used a clutch birdie on the 17th hole Sunday to edge out Brittany Lincicome for a one-shot victory in the Navistar LPGA Classic.
The birdie allowed the Australian to claim her second career tour victory with a round of 5-under-par 67, ending the tourney at 19-under 269.
Hull, 28, also won the Canadian Open two years ago.
Lincicome, meanwhile, came up a bit short in her bid to collect her first victory since the 2009 Kraft Nabisco event. She made a charge with two late birdies to grab sole possession of second place at minus-18.
Third-round leader Cristie Kerr entered the day with a three-shot lead but stumbled to a 72, finishing in a third-place tie with Na Yeon Choi (69) at 17-under 271.
Lindsey Wright (63), Amy Yang (66), Se Ri Pak (69) and Anna Nordqvist (69) ended up knotted for fifth place one shot further back at minus-16.
