STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Ethan Moreau's goal 1:56 into overtime Saturday handed the Columbus Blue Jackets a 3-2 victory over San Jose in Stockholm, Sweden.

Moreau's tally off an assist by Fedor Tyutin enabled the Blue Jackets to rebound from a loss Friday and even their season-opening, two-game Swedish series with San Jose at one win apiece.

Kristian Huselius notched a goal and an assist and Rick Nash got the other marker for the victors, while Steven Mason turned aside 33 of 35 shots in net.

Joe Thornton scored on a power-play goal in the third period to pull the Sharks even at 2-2.

Devin Setoguchi accounted for the Sharks' other goal and Antero Niittymaki made 22 saves in the overtime setback.
