FRISCO, Texas, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Jeff Larentowicz's second goal of the game Saturday salvaged a 2-2 tie for Colorado Rapids in a Major League Soccer match with FC Dallas.
Larentowicz gave Colorado the early lead in the 13th minute off an assist from Omar Cummings. Milton Rodriguez scored his fifth goal of the season unassisted in the 27th minute and teammate David Ferreira put Dallas up 2-1 with his eighth goal 10 minutes later with assists from Marvin Chavez and Jair Benitez.
Larentowicz then added his second score -- his fourth this season -- 6 minutes after halftime off a Jamie Smith assist.
The draw extended Dallas's undefeated streak to 19 matches, a single-season MLS record. Columbus previously held the record. Dallas also set the league mark for ties in a season.
Dallas (12-2-14) has clinched a playoff spot. Colorado (11-8-9) needs a win at Los Angeles Oct. 16 to secure a berth in the post-season.
