COL FB: Alabama 31, Florida 6

TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Mark Ingram scored two touchdowns and receiver Marquis Maze threw a TD pass Saturday in No. 1 Alabama's 31-6 rout of No. 7 Florida.

Greg McElroy finished the game 11-of-17 passing for 84 yards and C.J. Mosley returned an interception for a touchdown for the Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0 SEC), who won their 29th straight regular-season game.

Florida (4-1, 2-1) was led by quarterback John Brantley, who completed 16-of-31 pass attempts for 202 yards and was picked off twice.

The Gators were plagued by four turnovers in the defeat.
