ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Torii Hunter lined an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning Wednesday, giving the Los Angeles Angels a 2-1 victory over Oakland and a series sweep.

Jeff Mathis and Howie Kendrick singled off Brad Ziegler (3-7) and, with two outs, Hunter smashed a solid hit to left-center, chasing home Mathis with the winning run and handing the Angels a three-game sweep of the A's in their final home game of the year.

Bobby Cassevah (1-2) collected his first major league victory after tossing two scoreless frames. Angels starter Joel Pineiro allowed just one run on five hits over seven innings.

Kendrick had three hits and drove in a run.

A's starter Bobby Cramer held the Angels to one run on three hits through 6 2/3 innings.

Rajai Davis drove in Oakland's only run with a fifth-inning double.
