Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

CLEVELAND, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Mitch Talbot and two relievers teamed for a seven-hit shutout Wednesday, a 4-0 Cleveland win over Detroit in the first game of a doubleheader.
Talbot (10-13) posted only his second victory in 12 starts. He limited Detroit to five hits over seven frames, issuing no walks and striking out five.
Jensen Lewis and Vinnie Pestano each pitched a scoreless inning of relief to complete the whitewash and hand the Indians their seventh straight victory over the Tigers in a game rescheduled after Tuesday night's rainout.
Travis Hafner and Shin-Soo Choo each connected for two-run homers to provide Cleveland's offense.
Max Scherzer (12-11) absorbed the loss for the Tigers, yielding four runs on eight hits over five innings.
