WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Adam Dunn blasted a game-winning homer in the ninth inning Tuesday, letting the Washington Nationals edge Philadelphia 2-1.

Dunn's walk-off blast off Jose Contreras (6-4) was only the third Nationals hit, but it was enough to allow Washington to tie its three-game series with the Phillies.

Drew Storen (4-4) picked up the win after tossing a scoreless eighth. Washington starter Jason Marquis held the Phillies to one run on seven hits over six innings.

The Phillies, who clinched the National League East crown Monday, got a five-inning start out of Roy Oswalt, who yielded only one run.

Raul Ibanez knocked a fourth-inning solo homer for Philadelphia's only run.
