Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Pedro Alvarez socked a go-ahead, three-run homer in the third Saturday and the Pittsburgh Pirates went on to defeat Houston 6-4.
Jose Tabata and Ryan Doumit each came through with run-scoring singles in the fifth to ice the victory, just the third win for the Pirates in 14 tries against the Astros.
Zach Duke (8-14) pitched six-plus solid innings, yielding three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three.
Houston starter Bud Norris (9-9) absorbed the defeat, allowing five runs on seven hits and three walks while fanning six over 4 2/3 innings.
Humberto Quintero had a pair of RBI for the Astros.
