MLB: Houston 3, Milwaukee 2

HOUSTON, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Bud Norris tamed the Brewers on three hits over seven-plus innings Tuesday and the Houston Astros topped Milwaukee 3-2.

Norris (8-8) won for the sixth time in seven decisions over 10 starts for the Astros, yielding only one run while surviving five walks and striking out seven.

Brandon Lyon notched his 16th save despite allowing a solo homer to Casey McGehee in the ninth.

Houston scored all of its runs on a first-inning, three-run blast by Chris Johnson and went on to win its sixth game in eight outings.

Johnson's homer was the only mistake made by Milwaukee starter Chris Capuano (3-4), who yielded five hits over 6 1/3 innings to take the loss.
