NFL: Tennessee 38, Oakland 13

NASHVILLE, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Chris Johnson bulled his way for 142 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns Sunday in the Tennessee Titans' 38-13 victory over Oakland.

Johnson, who racked up 2,006 rushing yards last year, wasted no time in resuming his ground assault, carrying the ball 27 times to stretch his string of consecutive games with 100-plus yards to 13 -- the second-longest such span in NFL history.
