Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Aaron Rodgers launched a pair of scoring strikes Sunday, sparking the Green Bay Packers to a 27-20 victory over Philadelphia.
Rogers survived a pair of interceptions to lead the Packers to their fourth straight season-opening victory, finding Greg Jennings and Donald Driver for scores and completing 19 of his 31 attempts for 188 yards.
Jennings hauled down five catches for 82 yards and Driver notched his 50th career touchdown among his five receptions for 30 yards.
Brandon Jackson, filling in for the injured Ryan Grant, ran for 63 yards on 18 carries to help give Green Bay its first win in Philadelphia since 1962.
Starting Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb had a disastrous game, completing only 5-of-10 passes for 24 yards before being knocked out of the game with a concussion.
He was replaced by Michael Vick, who hit on 16-of-24 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown, rallying Philadelphia (0-1) from a 17-point deficit and making it a close game before coming up a bit short.
