Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Torii Hunter collected four RBI and Hideki Matsui homered Saturday in the Los Angeles Angels' 7-4 victory over Seattle.
Hunter finished 2-for-4 to back Ervin Santana (16-9), who allowed three runs on five hits, walking one and striking out five as the Angels notched a series-clinching win in their three-game set with the Mariners.
Fernando Rodney secured the victory by recording the final out in the ninth, earning his ninth save with Los Angeles.
Seattle starter Felix Hernandez (11-11) absorbed the defeat, surrendering seven runs (four earned) on six hits.
Ichiro Suzuki connected for a three-run homer for the M's, who lost for the fourth time in five outings.
