MIAMI, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Jacory Harris completed 12-of-15 passes for 210 yards and three scores Thursday, carrying No. 13 Miami to a season-opening 45-0 win over Florida A&M.

Two of the touchdown passes went to Leonard Hankerson, who had six catches for 115 yards. Both of Hankerson's scores came in the first period while the Hurricanes were building a 35-0 halftime lead.

Harris hit Hankerson with touchdown tosses of 19 and 40 yards, then found Damien Berry with a 32-yarder early in the second quarter. Ray-Ray Armstrong added a 22-yard interception return for the Hurricanes and a 1-yard scoring run by Mike James finished out the first-half scoring.

Harris was rested in the second half.

Martin Ukpai completed 5-of-11 passes for 58 yards and the costly interception for Florida A&M, which won eight games last season.
