CNN suspends Martin for Super Bowl tweets

TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- The NCAA announced Thursday Alabama defensive end Marcell Dareus would be ineligible for two games this season because of dealings with a sports agent.
The announcement said Dareus must repay the benefits he received before he can play again. Those benefits amounted to $1,787.17, stemming from two trips he made to Miami.
Dareus will miss top-ranked Alabama's season-opener Saturday against San Jose State and a Sept. 11 game against Penn State.
He led the Southeastern Conference in sacks with 6 1/2 as a sophomore in 2009.
