DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Michelle Wie's second LPGA championship improved her world women's golf ranking to No. 7, the list released Monday showed.

Wie won the Canadian Women's Open by three strokes over Lee Jee-young, Kristy McPherson, Suzann Pettersen and Jiyai Shin and moved up from her previous No. 12 ranking.

Wie's move into the Top 10 shook up the bottom part of that group but the top six places were unchanged from last week.

Ai Miyazato is still No. 1 ahead of Cristie Kerr, while Pettersen is third and Shin fourth. Yani Tseng is ranked No. 5 with Choi Na-yeon in sixth.

Kim In-kyung, sixth at the Canadian Women's Open, moved up one place from ninth to eighth. With Wie and Kim moving up, Kim, Song-hee slipped from seventh to ninth and Paula Creamer when from eighth to 10th. Anna Nordqvist fell one spot to 11th.
