
DENVER, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Andre Goodman and Syd'Quan Thompson each ran interceptions back for touchdowns Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 34-17 exhibition win over Pittsburgh.
Goodman picked off a Dennis Dixon pass and went 77 yards for a score to give the Broncos a 17-3 lead just before the half and Thompson provided Denver's final touchdown with a 48-yard interception return.
Tim Tebow (5-for-10, 72 yards) found Eric Decker for a 3-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter and Matt Prater was 2-for-2 on field goal tries for Denver.
Lance Ball gained 75 yards on 10 carries for the Broncos.
Dixon finished 9-for-16 for 94 yards and two interceptions for the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger completed four passes in six tries, gaining 67 yards.
Jonathan Dwyer carried the ball 13 times for 89 yards and a touchdown for Pittsburgh.
