CNN suspends Martin for Super Bowl tweets

ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Kevin Kouzmanoff and Mark Ellis each socked homers Sunday in the Oakland Athletics' 8-2 victory over Texas.
Coco Crisp finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and Gio Gonzalez (12-8) delivered six solid six innings, allowing two runs on five hits with a walk and four strikeouts for the Athletics.
The A's took the final two games of a three-game set with the Rangers at Arlington, Texas.
Rangers starter Colby Lewis (9-11) was rocked for seven runs on eight hits and three walks through 5 2/3 innings. He struck out seven.
Josh Hamilton blasted his 31st homer and drove in the other run for first-place Texas, losers of three of four games.
