NFL: Houston 23, Dallas 7

HOUSTON, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Matt Schaub threw for 183 yards and a touchdown and Houston's defense held Dallas to 13 yards rushing Saturday in a 23-7 exhibition victory over the Cowboys.

Arian Foster alone ran for 110 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown, for the Texans, now 1-2.

Schaub completed 18-of-29 throws, including a 24-yard scoring strike to Jacoby Jones, who finished with five receptions for 63 yards. Andre Johnson had seven catches for 79 yards.

Neil Rackers and Kris Brown kicked short field goals for the Texans, as well.

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo went 13-for-18 for 146 yards as the Cowboys fell to 2-2. Jon Kitna got Dallas into the end zone with a 24-yard scoring pass to Kevin Ogletree in the fourth quarter.
