CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Nick Folk's three field goals Saturday carried the New York Jets to a lackluster 9-3 exhibition win over the Carolina Panthers.

With both offenses struggling, Mark Sanchez was just 5-for-10 for 12 yards and Joe McKnight ran 11 times for 28 yards for the 1-1 Jets, while Matt Moore managed just 6-of-17 and Jimmy Clausen 9-of-22 for the 0-2 Panthers.

John Kasay's 42-yard field goal in the third quarter accounted for Carolina's points.
