MLB: Florida 6, Houston 3

MIAMI, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Wes Helms's sixth-inning triple drove in the go-ahead run Saturday and the Florida Marlins went on to best Houston 6-3.

Helms's hit chased home Cody Ross, who himself had tied the score with a two-run triple earlier in the frame, sparking the Marlins to their sixth straight victory.

Gaby Sanchez added a pair of RBI and two runs scored for the victors.

Chris Volstad (7-9) limited the Astros to two runs on five hits over six innings, walking three and striking out six.

Houston stater Wandy Rodrigurez (9-12) struck out 10 in six innings, yielding two earned runs on seven hits over six frames.
