GENEVA, Switzerland, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- American Cheryl Miller and Serbian Vlade Divac are among 17 inductees picked for the International Basketball Hall of Fame's class of 2010.

Miller helped the 1984 U.S. Olympic women's basketball team to a gold medal and Southern California to two national championships. Her pro career was waylaid by knee injuries.

Divac led Yugoslavia to two Olympic silver medals. He starred in the NBA from 1989-2005.

Also reaching the Hall of Fame this year is Lithuanian Arvydas Sabonis, who won an Olympic gold medal as a member of the Soviet Union team in 1988. He was on the Lithuanian team that took the bronze medals in 1992 and 1996.

Sabonis later played professionally in Europe and the NBA.

The enshrinement ceremonies will be Sept. 12 in Istanbul, Turkey, at the final of the FIBA World Championship.
