
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora walked, stole second and scored after two wild pitches in the 10th inning Wednesday to give Colorado a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers threatened to score in the bottom of the 10th when Reed Johnson singled but was thrown out at home trying to score from first on a single to center by Scott Podsednik, ending the game.
Rafael Betancourt (3-1) picked up the win in relief of Rockies starter Cole Hamels, who gave up two runs on four hits, with four walks and four strikeouts, over six innings. Huston Street recorded his ninth save.
Miguel Olive drove in two runs for the Rockies.
Dodgers starter Hiroki Kuroda went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.
Octavio Dutel (2-3), who uncorked both wild pitches in the 10th, took the loss.
