Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

NEW YORK, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Detroit Tigers infielder Carlos Guillen is back on the 15-day disabled list, this time with a bruised left knee.
Guillen, who had just come off the DL Aug. 9, having missed two weeks with a right-calf strain, got hurt Monday while turning a game-ending double play against the New York Yankees.
Guillen is hitting .273 with six home runs and 34 RBI in 68 games.
The Tigers recalled infielder Will Rhymes from Class AAA Toledo to fill in for Guillen. Rhymes has hit .259 with four RBI in 15 games in the big leagues this season and was at .305 in 95 games for Toledo.
