HOUSTON, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Pedro Feliz's two-run double capped a four-run, sixth-inning surge Sunday that lifted the Houston Astros to an 8-2 victory over Pittsburgh.
After Jeff Keppinger drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Jason Castro delivered an RBI single, Feliz chipped in with his big hit to put Houston up 5-2 and hand the Astros a sweep of their three-game series with the Pirates.
Chris Johnson socked a solo homer, part of a 3-for-4 performance, and Hunter Pence added three hits and three runs scored for the Astros.
J.A. Happ (3-1) notched the victory with a strong six-inning effort, yielding two runs on three hits and four walks. He struck out five.
Pittsburgh starter Jeff Karstens (2-9) was roughed up for five runs on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings.
