Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

ATLANTA, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Jair Jurrjens tossed seven strong innings and Atlanta pounded out 16 hits Sunday in the Braves' 13-1 rout of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Jurrjens (5-4) scattered six hits, walked only one and fanned seven in winning for the fifth time in nine starts since returning from the disabled list with a strained hamstring.
Alex Gonzalez and Troy Glaus each drove in four runs with a pair of hits for the first-place Braves, who took three of four games from the Dodgers at Turner Field.
Omar Infante was 3-for-5 with three runs scored, and Brooks Conrad and Melky Cabrera each had two hits and an RBI for the victors.
Los Angeles starter Vincete Padilla (6-4) was rocked for eight runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings.
