MIAMI, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Lex Hilliard scored on a 2-yard run to put Miami in front Saturday and the Dolphins went on to defeat Tampa Bay 10-7 in a rainy pre-season game.

Miami drove 59 yards in six plays to what proved to be the winning touchdown, which came with 10 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Quarterback Chad Henne played into the second period and completed 5-of-11 passes for just 19 yards for the Dolphins. Ronnie Brown, who suffered a foot injury late last season, gained 20 yards on five carries and Hilliard picked up 19 yards on eight rushes.

Tampa Bay's John Freeman played two possessions and completed all four of his passes for 53 yards and a touchdown to Sammie Stroughter. The scoring pass traveled 13 yards.
