MLB: Milwaukee 4, Chicago Cubs 3

CHICAGO, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Casey McGehee had two RBI and Prince Fielder also drove in a run Tuesday in the Milwaukee Brewers' 4-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

Fielder had two hits and Ryan Braun had three for the Brewers who totaled 11 hits in game as did the Cubs.

Fielder's RBI single in the third inning put the Brewers ahead for good.

The loss spoiled the major league debut of Cubs starter Thomas Diamond (0-1) who struck out 10 but gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks over six innings. Chicago has lost seven in a row.

Chris Naverson (9-7) picked up the win. He limited Chicago to one run on six hits and struck out six in 5 2/3 innings. John Axford earned his 16th save despite giving up a run in the bottom of the ninth.

Kosuke Fukudome had a pinch-hit home run for the Cubs in the seventh inning. Derrek Lee and Starlin Castro accounted for Chicago's other two RBI.
