CHICAGO, July 28 (UPI) -- Gordon Beckham touched off a home-run barrage that allowed Chicago to overcome a four-run deficit Wednesday and bring the White Sox a 6-5 win over Seattle.

The White Sox won their 10th straight at home and remained a game in front of Minnesota at the top of the American League Central.

Seattle grabbed a 5-1 lead through 1 1/2 innings, but Beckham hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the second to ignite the Chicago rally.

Alexei Ramirez and Paul Konerko hit solo homers in the fifth to tie it and Alex Rios singled home Juan Pierre with one out in the seventh to put the White Sox in front.

Seattle, which has lost seven out of 10, got a two-run homer from Chone Figgins.

Matt Thornton (3-3), the third of five Chicago pitchers, retired only two of the five men he faced in the seventh inning but still got the victory. He came on to relieve Sergio Santos with one out in the seventh and got Russell Branyan to ground out.

Thornton then loaded the bases by giving up two singles and hitting a batter before getting Michael Saunders on a fly ball to end the inning. Bobby Jenks claimed his 21st save with a perfect ninth.

Jamey Wright (1-3) gave up the go-ahead run in the seventh to take the loss.
