ETOBICOKE, Ontario, July 24 (UPI) -- Dean Wilson fired a 5-under-par 65 for the third straight day Saturday, grabbing a four-stroke lead at the Canadian Open.

Wilson's 15-under 195 matched the 54-hole Canadian Open record set by Arnold Palmer in 1955.

It was also good enough to give him a four-shot buffer over three golfers, including Sweden's Carl Pettersson, who zoomed up from the cut line into a share of second place at minus-11 after shooting a blistering 10-under 60.

Pettersson had a chance for a round of 59, which would have been only the fifth in PGA Tour history, but he missed a birdie putt on the 18th.

Joining Pettersson in second on a day marked by sporadic heavy rainfall were Bob Estes (66) and second-round co-leader Tim Clark (69).

Bryce Molder (63), Trevor Immelman (65), Kevin Sutherland (65) and Brock MacKenzie (68) were in a fifth-place tie at minus-10.
