Pressel takes Evian lead with eagle

EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France, July 24 (UPI) -- Morgan Pressel scored an eagle on the 18th hole en route to a 5-under 67 and the third-round lead of the Evian Masters in France.

The third round-ending flourish enabled Pressel to reclaim the lead two days after she ended 18 holes with a share of the top spot at Evian Masters Golf Club. She finished Saturday at 11-under 205, two strokes ahead of Jiyai Shin (68) and Jeong Jang (70).

Tied for fourth place at minus-8 were Brittany Lincicome (7-under 65) and Alexis Thompson (67).

Meanwhile, second-round leader Mika Miyazato stumbled Saturday, carding a 2-over 74 and falling into a tie for sixth place with Mayu Hattori (69), Na Yeon Choi (71) and M.J. Hur (71) at 7-under 209.
