MLS: Los Angeles 2, San Jose 2 (tie)

CARSON, Calif., July 23 (UPI) -- Landon Donovan scored in the 90th minute Thursday, allowing Los Angeles to stay unbeaten at home in a 2-2 tie with San Jose.

The Galaxy came from two goals behind to run their home unbeaten streak to eight games.

Edson Buddle pulled Los Angeles into a 1-1 tie with his 12th goal of the season in the 59th minute.

San Jose got a goal from Bobby Convey before the game was 2 minutes old and Brandon McDonald added his first of the year in the 72 minute, to put the Earthquakes back in front 2-1.

Los Angeles leads the Western Conference with a 12-2-4 mark and 40 points. San Jose (6-4-5) missed a chance to move into a third-place tie in the West.
